Over the last five and a half years, I’ve helped hundreds of high-performing men get in elite shape.

I’m talking 6-pack, lean, strong, confident.

And throughout the process of coaching these men, I’ve noticed a very interesting — and predictive — correlation.

The men who start with the goal of looking elite, are the ones who end up with an elite body.

I know that sounds self-explanatory, but let me explain…

The men who come to me and say:

“I want the 6-pack.”

“I want the chiseled pecs.”

“I want to be in the top 1% for my age.”

These are the men who truly go the distance.

Because they’re operating from a position of identity and deep desire.

They’re going after what they want. Not just what they need.

Now, the men who come to me and say:

“I just need to lose a few pounds.”

“I just need to feel a bit better.”

“I just need to tone up a little.”

These are the men who tend to struggle and self-sabotage.

Because they’re operating from a position of playing it safe.

They’re worried that if they declare something bold, it will expose them.

So they set soft goals with lower emotional stakes as a subconscious protective mechanism.

But that’s the issue.

Soft goals will only ever lead to soft results.

Elite goals that scare you?

They will force you to step into the man required to achieve them.
